XP home Logon Failure
Unable to logon to my computer. I usually don't have the log on welcom
screen, but this time it came up when I booted the computer. When I clicked
on the user it started to logon but then immediately logged me out and saved
the settings without going anywhere. Safe mode is no help, as it does the
same, even in administrator login. Any ideas would be appreciated.

No problems, used Reecovery Console and now are able to logon.

I have the same problem as you had. I can fire up Recovery Console and get
to C:\Windows, but I don't know where to go after that. Any help you could
provide would be much appreciated!
