Folder Permissions
In a senior moment I changed the Permissions on a directory folder on my peer
to peer network data drive to deny access to "Everyone". Is it possible to
reset those permissions so that the folder is again accessible? I haven't
lost access to the data because it was a copy of another folder but if I
can't make it accessible I would like to be able to delete the folder.

Thanks in advance. O/S = Win XP SP2.

I have lots of those moments.
Login to an account which has administrator privilege.
Disable "simple file sharing" if you haven't already.
Then go to the folder in question and add "Everyone" to the list of accounts
which can access the folder.
Note that "Everyone" means all accounts on the computer, and only those
accounts.

Take ownership of the folder and you should be able to restore access.
