Constant Looping

so i installed Service pack 2 and now when i try to start my computer when i
try to boot up XP it's giving me an Error Message saying UnmountableBoot and
after that it will boot again and again all over again.

I've tried pretty much everything and i am so ready to chunk my computer out
the window.

Any help

i don't have my Recovery Console disk and my back up disk won't even work.
What should i do now? I can't open windows in safe mode or even command
prompt i've done the F8 trick.

I'm running out of tricks to use.

My computer can hold two Opertating Systems on it so what if i just uploaded
my unused copy of windows 98 just that i could attempt to reinstall the SP2
file or fix whatever might be causing the problem.
