Too many Virus Mishaps, - i think its adware
Hi, Recently Random internet browsers have been opening and taking me to
advertisement sites, it's rendered my internet borwsers relatively useless
(another one just opened)
I have both internet explorer 6 as well as Firefox-i use more often,
Both hardly work, when they open, and if i can, it takes me 45 minutes and
endless closing of pop ups to navigate to something as simple as my email.

i think these problems stem from a program i recently downloaded from lime
wire
which i have deleted. Limewire itself still functions as does windows
messenger.

it isnt nesscesarily a life or death thing, but i may break this thing if it
isnt resolved soon

Cheers.

-Ian

This isn't a virus, more likely a fake antivirus progam producing false
alarms in an attempt to get you to pay the scammers.

First you need to identify the fake program. Ad-Aware (free) from
http://lavasoftusa.com is one option for this. Then you may need to get a
specific removal-tool.
