Multiple Instances of Registry Corruption and Subsequent Black Scr
Multiple XP systems are having registry corruption much like it is described
in KB822705. We have recently been having as many as 22 per week, but it
varies from week to week. We were seeing only 1 per week back early April
before the number spiked. So far we have identified at least 144 cases.

I see a disproportionate number of these problems on systems one of our Iron
Mountain Connected backup servers as compared to the other three. that
particular server is at 8.x while the others are at 7.x. The problem also
occurs on the ones on 7.x but at a lesser rate.

I also see a a spike on Mondays with perhaps three times and many as the
other days of the week.

Has anyone seen this or have suggestions for how to prevent it.

This article applies to WinXP, so it may not cover everything on a
server OS, but it'd be a good place to start:
