XP home to XP Pro upgrade with Vista Licence?

Hi, i need to upgrade a XP home box to XP pro but cannot buy an XP Pro
upgrade. I have the XP Pro upgrade media. Can I buy a copy of Vista Business
do the upgrade to XP pro with the Media i have and then call and get a
downgrade XP Pro licence?

If you have the XP Pro upgrade media why is it you cannot use it?

No, Vista is not an XP Pro upgrade - Vista is Vista, a separate operating
system.
