Freeze at "windows will automatically adjust your screen resolution"
Hello, I was installing XP SP2 on a new hard drive. Everything was
going fine, but I wasn't attending to it every minute. So I returned
to it after a period of doing other stuff and found that it had
reached the dialog box "Windows will automatically adjust your screen
resolution...". I tried to click OK, but my mouse wouldn't move the
cursor. My keyboard Enter key wouldn't work either. (Upto this point,
my mouse and keyboard had worked fine.) I tried a different mouse and
keyboard, but still nothing.
Moreover, the screen focus is not on this dialog box--the dialog box
title is grey not black. Any suggestions for what to do?

My only thought is to power off and then restart and choose R to
repair a windows installation.

Thanks,
Chris

Just restart and see if anything at all is necessary - it may just continue.
