Partition
I am getting a new computer and have decided, after much consideration, to
stick with XP and not get Vista. I have the option of partitioning my hard
drive and wanted to get some ideas on strategies. My new hard drive will be
120 gig. Any recommendations on how large the primary partition should be?
Also, I am still uncertain whether I should stick with XP Home or get XP
professional.

My computer needs are fairly simple: word, excel, palm desktop, firefox,
thunderbird are the most frequently used programs. Any help or suggestions
would be appreciated. Thanks!

One partition.
Purchase an external USB drive and design a backup schedule.
Make backups of all installation media and product keys and store them in a
safe place.
