Refreshing the base CD image in RIS
When I try to build a PC from the original XP CD image created when setting
up RIS/WDS a number of files fail to copy as the textmode screen reports
files either corrupt or missing. In view of this and the fact the fact that
XP Sp3 has been released I would like to replace the original image with a
new one and ensure that the old CD image is no longer used.
I have created my new CD with Sp3 slipstreamed and the console will allow me
to create a new image but is there something specific I need to do to ensure
that this actually replaces the original. Are there any implications with the
other machine based images which are dependant on the original CD image
