WDS, LAN not initialising on first reboot

hi guys,

I'm successfully able to deploy my XP image to multiple PC's hurray!
However on first reboot where it runs mini-setup which is automated by my
sysprep.inf it does not initialize the LAN, hangs at joining domain then says
the domain could not accessed, do i want to try later, but if i reboot here
and let it try again it works, when it did error i brought up a cmd prompt
and noted i had no IP and trying to renew reported the device not ready.
Any ideas how i can kick the LAN into life without a second manual reboot?
