Settings

On 21st June, 2008 I posted a question regarding the above subject. I am
rather puzzled as to why there appears to be no replies. Is it because I did
not make the question understandable or are there other reasons? Any help I
can get on this subject would be much appreciated, either an answer to my
problem or an explanation as to why this question seems to have been ignored.
There appears to be other questions that have not received replies as well.

Your topic leaves much to the imagination, so that may be part of it.
Might I suggest using a subject that is a little more to the point? Not
everyone is as experienced with the millions of certain "settings"
Windows utilizes as another person may be, so choosing a more
descriptive topic may help attract the right attention.

On the other hand, this is a free forum, and I'm pretty sure there was
no documentation stating that any type of response was guaranteed.
There also may have just been no one with an answer. Everyone here
seems to be very knowledgable, however there are a few hundred other
forums out there if you can't find an answer here.

If you find that your post has not been answered (which if often times
may not be depending on various factors), you can either reply to "bump"
the topic to the top of the list of that forum allows such behavior, or
you can repost the topic again instead of making people do a search for
your previous post.

Why exactly your post was not replied to, I cannot say. In the end one
can only speculate.
