Of course it is not compatible.
The USB driver CD regardless if for Linux or Windows is
not the issue.
If your Universal Serial Bus (USB) controllers are installed
and the PCI host ctrl/root hub etc are recognised then it is
the "CCTV type DVR" device, which is confirmed by the
"unknown device" being the drive/caddy.

GoTo the site of the OEM/supplier of the "CCTV type DVR"
Click the Support/Help/FAQ/Tutorials/Guides links.
And follow the instructions for connection/Installation,
I suspect it will all work just dandy if networked.
