Connecting Camcorder to Windows Movie Maker Problems
I have an HP computer, Firewire adapter connecting directly to my canon Elura
100 camera. The camera conencted perfectly on my last computer but for some
reason it is not working now. When I plug the camera in it loads windows
movie maker and detects the camera, but when I try to capture the video it no
longer detects the camera.

Is there some driver out there for windows XP to connect camcorders through
Firewire?

I've experience a Canon camera not being recognised. It did work on the same
system with a different firewire card, so that my be the source of your
problem.
