which section determinate the right trigger-way to PCMCIA card?

From regedit.exe,the trigger-way assigned by OS is the same with the one I
request in INF file.
In some laptops the card works well with level-trigger. But in other laptops
it works well with edge-trigger with the same driver/OS.

which section of laptop determinate the right trigger-way to PCMCIA card?
