Remote 2k Desktop

i have been messing with this for days now, and i absolutely cannot figure
out how to view a remote desktop on a 2000 machine. I want to view the 2k
machine from an XP. help would be amazing.

Assuming Windows 2000 Professional (not server) - you need a third party
application (or perhaps NetMeeting would do it - been a while...)

I suggest UltraVNC or some other flavor of VNC.

A Windows 2K system cannot host a remote desktop session. It can only act as a
client.

You might consider trying one of these third party apps.

Windows 2000 Server can have terminal services enabled in Remote
Administration mode.

And you can use the remote desktop client to connect to the Windows 2000
Server then...
