RDP - number lock

I have an employee that remotes from a laptop to a desktop in the office.
She has a numeric keypad attached to the laptop. The only way to get her
keypad to work in a remote session is to turn on the numlock on her laptop,
which of course turns on the numlock on her laptop keyboard. Anybody know a
way around this?
