Have to create new user account to continue using RD
I am able to use Remote Desktop from a home lan to machines on the
workplace lan but only for a few times. After that I get "the
connection to the remote computer was broken" etc. However if I create
a new user on the client machine that user can connect ok, for a few
times, and then the same error occurs so I have to create a new user
etc. I tried creating a user on the client machine with the same logon
credentials as the remote machine being accessed and that seemed to
work for longer but eventually the same thing happened. What could be
causing this?

Ok. Think I've cracked it so in case this is useful to anyone else:
It's a simple matter of deleting the cached session on the client
machine which is located in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\Cache
