PPTP VPN Client?
I'm on WinXP, am using the WinXP connection to pptp to another
network. It has been working fine. Now when trying to connect, all i
get is the message "Verifying username and password", and it just
hangs for about a minute, then another message comes up saying it
could not connect to the remote computer. I have tried reentering the
userid and password and rebooting, etc. and still it does not work. I
have contacted the remove source's administrator and they can't see
anything on their side, and they have confirmed the userid and
password are ok.

I *am* successfull in using it under WIndows Vista.

Is there any other free pptp vpn client I can use under a WInXP
platform??

THanks in advance,
Roger

Re: PPTP VPN Client?
in most cases, VPN error 721 is GRE issue. To troubleshooting it, use
PPTPclnt and PPTPsrv tool. This link may help.
